Is it really over 2 month since I wrote the Albir Lighthouse article, it doesn't seem that long.  February started with so much promise, unfortunately circumstances took over a little and plans went out the window, when I managed to break my collarbone in a mountain biking accident...

Mountain biking along with motorbikes has been a passion of mine since childhood.  Motorbikes however have always stayed front and centre whereas MTB's have come and gone.

Since New Year 2014 I have been trying to get fitter and perhaps slimmer to help me get back into my leathers.  On one of these trips on the 25th Feb I flew over the handlebars of my bike and landed in the undergrowth in pain.  Read the full article HERE in ourMTB section.

Over Valentines weekend my wife and I had a long weekend in Valencia.  No biking was on the cards however we did manage to visit a couple of interesting shops whilst there.  The first was Motocard and the second Outlet Moto, both had a good range of items in stock. Motocard seems to be more of an up market place were Outlet Moto as the name suggests is aimed at the price concious customer.

Having suffered, my wife would say she more than I due to my injury, most things have been put on hold.  However we did manage to complete the scooter we have been renovating as part of our Project 15 series.  We are now waiting for a test date for the theory and then just the practical to go before a new biker is born.

We have another project in the pipeline which we hinted at before Christmas, Christmas Arrives Early, this was initially delayed due to a parts problem, then the injury but will hopefully be started in the next couple of weeks.

There is a new arrival in the garage which we are currently testing and will add an article about soon.  Those of you who follow us on Facebook will already know what it is, for the rest you will have to wait and see.  All I will say at the moment is that I can ride it whereas the GSXR is really painful just to sit on for 5mins let alone ride.

In March we visited the Sobre2Ruedas bike show in Alicante, for a regional event it was still packed with interesting new bikes to look at.  Well worth a trip next year.

All in all it's a bit hectic at Bikers España now, but that's how we like it.
