Chris rode a motorcycle for the first time on a family holiday to Cornwall in 1980 when he was 10 years old and was hooked. His first bike was a part-owned Honda C50 that he shared with his brother Paul and rode around a family farm, local quarries and lanes, occasionally getting into bother as they were only 11 and 12 at the time".
Over the years he has led tours with friends, ridden on track and off-road, and done plenty of road riding, mostly in the UK, France, and Spain, but has plans to travel much further afield over the next few years including Ireland, Morocco and Norway
After owning the aforementioned Honda and a Zundapp 250 field bike that hardly ran and then riding other people's bikes he finally bought a new Yamaha RD 125 LC at age 17. After passing his full test at 23 a string of great bikes followed including:-
