Originally intended for the 28th April and moved to the 26th of May at the last minute due to the weather, the organisers of the Matinal Motera in Alicante should be commended for putting on a great show.
Parking was straightforward, with plenty of space and easy access. Entry had been 8€ in advance but 10€ on the day is OK, especially considering we got commemorative T shirts shown right, a sausage sandwich and beer to cool us down.
On display around the show where some new and 2nd hand bikes for sale from many of the large manufacturers along with club stands, insurance companies and accessory suppliers.
Touratech had a couple of BMW's on display in full adventure kit, crash bars, extra lights, aluminium boxes, bags etc and Aprilia had the new Dorsoduro 750 Factory in black which I am rather taken with.
As well as the static displays there where radio controlled motorbikes whizzing around a small track, trials riders defying the laws of physics and a display of motorcycles to try including a Royal Enfield Outfit, a Brammo Enertia electric motorbike a hybrid scooter and a few others, some of which can be rented from Ecorrent.com.
We waived off the riders as they set off for there tour of Alicante as we headed out and home, having spent a good couple of hours walking around taking in the atmosphere and a few pictures, shown below.
