In May 2009 the DGT (Direccion General de Trafico) introduced an online payment method for traffic offences.  This simplifies the current process of having to visit a post office, your local branch of Banco de Santander or Trafico office.

It is possible to receive a reduction of 30% for the majority of traffic offences if the fine is paid within 30 days of issue, this is also the case with the electronic system which automatically recalculates the payment.

	Go to www.dgt.es  On the menu select "Tramitas y Multas"
	On this menu select "¿Alguna Multa?"
	Click the top option "Pago de multas"
	Click on the link "Pago de multas (sin certificado digital ni DNI electronico)
