Originally intended for the 28th April and moved to the 26th of May at the last minute due to the weather, the organisers of the Matinal Motera in Alicante should be commended for putting on a great show.

Parking was straightforward, with plenty of space and easy access.  Entry had been 8€ in advance but 10€ on the day is OK, especially considering we got commemorative T shirts shown right, a sausage sandwich and beer to cool us down.

The 4th edition of the show held at the Feria de Alicant near Alicante was a great success with stands from many of the major manufacturers including, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Ducati.

Local dealers where present as well with a good selection of new and second hand bikes on display along with clubs, clothing stands and insurance companies.  Not as many bicycles were on display as previous years which was a shame, but there were a few including some electric ones.

Today 3rd July 2011 marked the first matinal organised by the Motoclub La Rectoria in Orba, Costa Blanca, Spain.  The organisers were expecting about 100 - 150 bikers to attend this new event, in the end around 200 turned up helping to make the day a success.

Over the weekend of the 7th & 8th May 2011 the Marquis de Campo in Denia played host to the 19th annual Denia Classic Revival.

The event consisted of a static display of classic bikes, trade stands and bikes for sale on the Marquis de Campo during the Saturday and three races around a street circuit near the court.  Then on the Sunday a parade of bikes would set off from Denia passing through Javea and Moraira before stopping in Calpe for lunch and then returning to Denia.
