For those of you who missed it, the Sobre2Ruedas bicycle and motorcycle show in Alicante was a great success.

The event held alongside the Antic Auto show had something for everyone, from the latest superbikes to vintage cars and bikes, with BMX and trials demonstrations for good measure. It was also good to visit a show where the food and drink was of good quality and a reasonable price, something organisers the world over could learn from.

The show organisers had laid on entertainment for the kids, large or small in the form of Scalextric demos, paintball and pedal carts, For the fitter adults you could try a spinning class.

A good number of trade stands where also in attendance with everything from key rings and memorabilia to paddock bikes and helmets, even a snow bike. The bicycle riders amongst us had plenty to attract us with the latest in road and mountain bike technology on display. All in all a good day out. Highlights of the show for me had to be the new Triumph Tiger 800 range and finally seeing a Ducati Diavel in the flesh.
